My daughter, son, and I went with some friends to see the movie Wonder yesterday. My daughter's best friend had texted the night before with the invitation for my 6th grade daughter, Eliza. I didn't even bother to ask her, I immediately replied, "yes," Eliza could go. When I told her about going to see Wonder with her best friend, there was definitely a happy dance.

My daughter asked for this book herself. A friend from school said that it was an amazing read, and so this book is, I believe, the first book my daughter Eliza has completely fell in love with. That is why I read it too, in a single day, I couldn't put it down, It is just that good.

My son who is in the 4th grade has been hearing us go on and on about this book, and then the movie for the last month. Now this doesn't seem to be his genre, but he asked to see the movie and for the book as well. While my son Rivers is ever my comedian, he has a very tender heart and he does listen to it. I think I may get him the movie addition as a stocking stuffer.

Let's face it, I want it too.

Now after seeing the movie and reading the book. I am now ready for the sequel. Are you? I love the precepts from Mr Brown I don't know about you, but I have work to do. I have a tendency to pick up a book, and get lost in it, especially the good ones. So be careful I have a feeling I found a new favorite author. Have a Happy Thanksgiving, a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year oh and enjoy a great book or movie over the holidays.
